PrizePicks has announced a multi-year agreement with Polymarket that will see its soon-to-launch predictions platform integrate Polymarket’s event contracts. Tuesday’s press release didn’t specify a launch date. It did, though, refer to Polymarket’s relaunch in the US market, after having exited in January 2022 due to regulatory concerns. It now holds a CFTC license after acquiring QCEX in September.

PrizePicks CEO Mike Ybarra highlighted that the company is already the number one daily fantasy sports (DFS) operator in the US. He believes the entry into the predictions space will be very popular among existing users and millions of potential new customers. Polymarket Founder and CEO Shayne Coplan said the new agreement will “enhance fandom while setting a new standard for interactive, regulated sports engagement.”
PrizePicks received CFTC approval in September to launch prediction markets, once it partnered with a federally regulated exchange. The green light came just one day after global gaming group Allwyn Entertainment announced it was acquiring a majority stake in the Atlanta-based company for $1.6bn.
